What a year 2013 was. We had the privilege of being part so many special days – the biggest in people’s lives! We have been warmly welcomed and received some truly humbling feedback from couples and their families. We are deeply grateful for the trust our couples put in us to document this most special of days through our vision and creativity. We pour ourselves into the weddings we shoot and want the day to be amazing from every point of view, not just the photographic one.
We want to say a MASSIVE thank you to all our couples of 2013 for the trust you invested in us, we loved shooting your weddings and sharing the fun we had on your pre wedding shoots!
On a professional level, we had an amazing year with awards from the AGWPJA and, remarkably, the ISPWP, which leads me nicely (sorry,!) to the biggest professional highlight, not only of last year, but of our business so far. Ian MacMichael photography achieved entry into one of the most prestigious wedding photography associations in the world, the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers, ISPWP.
We also had requests from several international wedding sites and blogs to feature our work, including The Wedding Vine, where we were answering questions as part of an “Ask the Expert” series and Wedding Photography Select.
We have put together a selection of some shots that sum up each couple for us. It was so difficult to choose what to include, so we decided to make it a collection of images that best represents the couples and their day to us, so from that aspect, it is a little selfish!
To all our future couples, we can’t wait to be a part of your day and look forward to creating awesome images that you will treasure for a lifetime….
